George Carlin is my hero. Coincidentally, he's my desk calendar too. It REALLY sucks that he died last year, by the way.
Quote of the day: "The mai tai got its name when two Polynesian alcoholics got in a fight over some neckwear."
Every once in awhile I find one that really hits home, particularly for work purposes.
A couple of the beauties that grace my cubicle wall:
"Most people don't know what they're doing, and a lot of them are really good at it."
"I finally figured out what email is for. It's for communicating with people you'd rather not talk to."
And for those particularly bad days:
"If someone says, "Have a nice weekend," I never say, "You too." Because I never know if, perhaps, by the time the weekend rolls around, I will have other plans for that person. Come Friday, I may wish to have them slain."
There aren't too many bad days for me here in Seattle, but I prefer to take the ones that are bad in stride with a little bit of sarcastic and witty humor =).
Here's little entertainment for your afternoon (and yes, I totally agree with his sense of humor on this...religion IS bullshit....just my point of view).
