FUCKING YELLOW PHONE BOOKS.
How the hell did they get outside our apartment doors, anyway? Our building is locked up like Fort Knox for Christ's sake.
When I got home and it was outside the door, I absolutely refused to bring it into the apartment. Fuck these soliciting people. I know it's good that they have a job and all, but come on...who uses a phone book nowadays. Drop 'em off at the senior center and be done with it.
I knew I couldn't leave the phone book outside of my door forever, so I did what any loving neighbor would do....I waited until someone down the hall had taken theirs inside, and I moved mine outside their door =). There were a number of other neighbors that had taken theirs inside as well, so no one would know who left them an extra one ;). I made sure it was a "deserving" neighbor too. Daddy Yankee, here's another phone book! For those of you that don't know about "Daddy Yankee" click here. Maybe he can use the extra paper to clean up dog shit.
I know that might sound juvenile, but it put a smile on my face =).
