Over the past few days I've been spending a little bit of my free time watching Season 4 of Weeds on DVD. For those of you that have never watched this show, it's all about a suburban mom turned pot dealer.
Spoiler: In Season 4, the family moves closer to the U.S./Mexico border, and the mom becomes part of an operation in which drugs, guns, and people are transported into and out of the U.S. via an underground tunnel. In the process, she ends up dating and falling in love with the head of the entire smuggling operation, who also coincidentally is the mayor of Tijuana (and his name is Esteban, which just sounds hot).
This guy is...WHEW...AMAZING. I don't find his appearance to be the main attraction though. It's the fact that he's pretty much this super edgy badass who becomes completely vulnerable that really gets me. Just mysterious enough, hot voice, very sweet and caring (aside from the fact that he can order his minions to torture or kill whoever gets in his way, of course). Damn...why can't I run into a guy like that? Seriously, these are the kinds of guys that I find extremely attractive. And NO, I'm not talking about the drug czar thing...drugs have nothing to do with it. Also not talking about the fact that said drug czar likes to physically spank the lady either (for those of you that have seen this season, you know; for those that have not, see trailer below).
I'm talking about a guy who is rough around the edges, but caring and considerate. Oh, and a guy who is confident, and has his own opinions...I can't stand pushovers. Is that so much to ask for? Being conveniently rich doesn't hurt either (JUST KIDDING...I've been into my share of poor boys too!).
Song of the day: "Dead Flowers" Miranda Lambert (because I couldn't find a good song titled "Weeds"...close enough)
