A night of celebrating

I spent last night doing some celebrating. Celebrating the fact that all is well with my lovely chest =). How did I celebrate?

Grocery shopping and cookie dough. (Oh, the things that I find entertaining these days.)

Thanks to the lovely blogosphere, I stumbled across an interesting post-Easter-themed cookie recipe on Cakespy: Leftover Easter Candy Cookies

So, I sacrificed what was left of the Peeps in the name of baking exploration. Take a look at the dough (watch out for those little Peep eyes peering back at you!):


THESE POOR PEEPS DON'T STAND A CHANCE....THEY'RE GOING FROM THE FRIDGE TO THE OVEN TONIGHT! (I'll post photos of the finished product in another post soon. Hopefully they will turn out better than my attempt at decorating Star Wars Easter eggs.)
