I was beginning to believe that "rainy Seattle" was just a myth. Seattlites don't like the idea of transplants in the first place I gather, so maybe it was just a story they made up to keep all of us outsiders from moving in!
I hope, rather than believe the above to be true. I get the feeling it's going to be a gnarly winter. With that in mind, I've come to the realization that I have absolutely ZERO fall/winter clothes in my closet. Arizona will do that to you. Maybe not quite zero, but the winter clothes I do own are due to be retired. I am pretty sure I own about 3 sweaters, which I have kept around for the past 4 years to wear back home in Indiana for Christmas. (My family probably think I'm fucking cheap since I wear the same clothes year after year!)
So, I think it might be time to do some preliminary fall shopping. Do I have the money to do significant damage? HELL NO.
The other obstacle is that I don't want to spend money on clothes really...I would prefer to spend it on tack for my horsey, of course! I guess I will have to go with a combination of the two.
Maybe I should start investing in some lottery tickets every now and then! I could use a little luck in the money department!
Oh...a couple of photos from this past weekend (see Best Friends post from yesterday):
1.) Battleship and wine at The Tasting Room
2.) Kerry Park
3.) ZigZag Cafe
4.) Gum Wall
Song of the day: "Rain" Breaking Benjamin (rain, rain, go away, come again another day)
