There's a solution for everything

Yesterday evening was fairly uneventful. I did an hour and a half of yoga, played with the dog, and mostly just watched old episodes of The O.C. on DVD. When I took dog for a walk, I noticed that the wild patch of blackberries on the street behind my apartment building were finally getting good and ripe, so I decided to go back upstairs, grab a bowl and pick a few for baking a blackberry pie.

There were more than enough berries, but what I was lacking was pie crust. Last night I was too lazy to make my own, but rather opted to make a late night grocery store run to remedy the issue. I needed to pick up a few other items anyway, so I thought I would kill a few birds with one stone. I'm walking rather hastily down the aisles with my mini-cart (which I would like to steal for use in my apt. building...see blog posting about chivalry being dead), trying to make a quick trip so I can get back to bake.

Well, you know how some things just stick out like a sore thumb? I'll be damned if I wasn't walking down the aisle to go pick up a package of bagels, and the item below made me do a complete double-take. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?"

Number one, if you've ever been in a grocery store in Seattle, you know that the coffee/tea products take up an ENTIRE aisle. You see, in Seattle you have to account for every type of herb, people with allergies, vegetarians, vegans, and organic food-freaks, the list goes on and on. So, out of the entire aisle, of which I am not planning on purchasing any item from, this is the sore thumb that sticks out at me.

Number two, PMS tea? Ladies, do you really think tea is going to regulate your cycle? That it's going to improve your moodiness? GET REAL PEOPLE. Maybe if they make that shit in maximum strength.

Guys, if your gals are being extremely pissy these days, just bring her home a box of this tea...I'm SURE she'll appreciate it.

Song of the day: "Seventeen Years" Ratatat (I just kick it from my head you know what I'm sayin?)
