Hope for a better future

Times are tough, money is tight, but we still need to invest in the future. As the saying goes, "Every little bit helps."

A good friend of mine is participating in the Southern California Brain Tumor Walk, honoring the memory of not only his wife, but his father-in-law, who both lost a hard-fought battle with this disease.

Not all of us have the skill to be doctors and researchers, but we still have the ability to be directly involved, by contributing directly to the cause through funding. This is something we CAN do.

I'm no big money-maker, but you can bet your ass I will be donating some cash to this cause come this Friday's payday. Even though this disease doesn't currently affect me directly, who knows what the future holds...it could affect friends and family of mine in the future, and every little bit means the possibility of new treatment development...more hope for a better tomorrow for those who suffer from this disease.

So, this is where you all come in....if you have a little bit to give, help me help a friend out, and sponsor his team by donating at the site below:

Thanks, everyone, for your consideration. And good luck on reaching your goal, Jason!
