Summer reading challenge

Aside from updating my HTML skills, I've decided that a little more learning is in order for the summer. I really need to shirk off the easy reading for awhile, and get back to some of the classics. Well, maybe not ALL classics, but at least something more challenging.

I have to laugh at myself for some of the books that are on my shelf at the moment (speaking of...me thinks it might be time to unload a few at Half Price Books for some quick $$). I won't tell you the titles of some of them, because I'm just too damn embarassed =). A 12-year-old could probably read some of the stuff that's up there. PREPOSTEROUS.

So, first book on the list to read this summer: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

Russian novels...aye, ye, ye! Wish me luck. I'm on about page 50, and have decided that so far the hardest part to conquer is keeping all of the characters straight...with all of their crazy Russian names.

I don't know what I'm going to read next, but of course I have another 800 pages to figure that out.

I can't wait to read your review of this one! It's on my shelf right now but I'm so busy it's hard to even keep up with my monthly book club reading.
