I don't need no sleep

I'm convinced it should just be spring already. I mean, the weather in Seattle has been pretty damn gorgeous the past couple of weeks, and good things are starting to happen. This is just one of those days where I freaking love my life.

The weekend was amazing. I had a few plans, but pretty much just went with the flow and went where the weekend took me. Where it took me:

1.) A fellow equestrian friend's birthday happy hour at Red Fin-Hotel Max downtown. HELLLOOO happy hour specials...how I love thee!

2.) Horse show in Spanaway. The sun was due to shine, so it was time to get the ponies out! Getting up at 3:30 a.m. isn't quite so lovely though.

3.) Night out with a good buddy in Capitol Hill. We're both single, so it is always nice to catch up and gossip about each others' love lives. Even though I was getting up toward 24 hours without any sleep (no nap after the horse show...don't ask me how!) We ended the night doing some dancing, and then the exhaustion started hitting me like a ton of bricks, so it was time to head home.

4.) Enter hot indie musician Capitol Hill boy on Sunday....SWOON! So, I met the guy when I was out on Valentine's Day last weekend...Valentine's Day.....blessing? Or curse!? Eek! We spent the late afternoon and evening walking down Alki Beach, drinking Bloody Marys, and talking talking talking talking. Me likey!

This week it's about Arizona though....flying in Thursday night, and it looks like I have quite the intinerary. All of you Phoenix peeps out there...if you want to hang out, get at me, but this is what I'm doing:

1.) Bob Schneider show at The Rhythm Room - straight from the airport to a show

2.) Lunch with some old coworkers on Friday.

3.) Friday night bar-hopping...probably Central Phoenix. (Shady's will be a key part of the night, of course.)

4.) Saturday time with my horsey friends. Got to go see everyone's new ponies!

5.) Parada del Sol Rodeo and party time at Handlebar J afterward....YEEEEEHAWWW!

6.) Sunday I'll be due for a good lunch and some recovery time before flying back.

Here's to a good week!
