No Quiet Place

"There is no quiet place in the white man's cities. No place to hear the unfurling of leaves in spring, or the rustle of an insect's wings. But perhaps it is because I am a savage and do not understand. The clatter only seems to insult the ears."

It's too bad that these words weren't actually spoken by Chief Seattle.

Check out the myth by clicking here.

It's been a long time since I've been somewhere that I don't hear the sound of cars driving....the buzz of the city. It kind of makes me want to take some free time while I'm Arizona this weekend to drive out to some desolate desert spot in the middle of nowhere just to take some time and clear my head. I've got some major decisions to make, and all of this worrying is just going to give me a damn ulcer. Sorry to be so vague, but I'll spill the details on these decisions sometime in the near future.

Song of the day: "Where Does The Good Go" Tegan & Sara (cause it's just moody enough for today)
