Those crazy witches

I really don't have anything juicy for you today, peeps. However, I am always reading something!

Time for a little book review:

Currently in my purse is the book titled The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent.

And currently on my nightstand to read next is The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte by Syrie James.

The former is based on none other than the witches of Salem, Massachusetts. Poor witches (who weren't really witches). I've said it before and I'll say it again....hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Piss off the wrong women, and they'll stir up rumors so crazy that you'll end up hanged! At least in those days...

The one theme that this book brings to mind is this: Don't believe everything you hear. Think for yourself! Logic and reasoning exist for this very purpose.

And for those poor people (so-called witches) who plead their case of innocence to the end...way to stand up for yourselves.

Song of the day: "Keep Holding On" Avril Lavigne (cause I'm due for some whiny chick song)
