A post about narcissism

Fairly recently a reader of mine made a comment about narcissistic blog postings. Which brings me to the question...what exactly is narcissim?

Webster's definition:

1 : egoism, egocentrism
2 : love of or sexual desire for one's own body

To take this a bit further...the definition of egocentric:

Function: adjective
Date: 1894

1 : concerned with the individual rather than society
2 : taking the ego as the starting point in philosophy
3 a : limited in outlook or concern to one's own activities or needs b : self-centered, selfish

Now the big question:
Is my blog narcissistic?

Well....hell yes it is, but only primarily. It's about MY life experiences and MY viewpoint. And it gives you a chance to enjoy MY, quite often, sarcastic humor, and to laugh at the stupid shit that happens in MY life. It only really benefits me by allowing me an outlet to vent not only frustrations, but to share happy moments as well.
