Everyone has something that gets on their nerves, and sometimes it just helps to vent. Here's a little list of mine:
1.) The word "pet peeve" - WTF? I suppose they had to come up with a short term for "shit that drives you nuts."
2.) "Valley girl" speak - like, oh my god, enough already!
3.) Skinny girls that think they're fat - you are either insecure and have a complex or you're fishing for attention, either way, do something about it instead of obsessing - your hyperbole benefits no one.
4.) Loudly chomping on gum - this one holds a special spot in my heart today...if your gum chomping resembles a damn cow chewing it's cud, we have a problem.
5.) Cigarette smoke smell - sorry all you smokers out there, you smell gross. And no, spraying some perfume or cologne on top doesn't help.
6.) Sarah Palin - I shouldn't be giving her any bit of attention, but I just have to say I think that there's a "special" place in hell for this woman.
7.) Auto-Tune Vocal Effect - fuck you, T-Pain...even this commercial gives me a headache:
8.) Chain-style Facebook status updates - I don't give a shit how much you love your brother. Tell him to his face...I'm sure he'll appreciate it more.
9.) Bad drivers - if this isn't on your list, you must be Amish (hell, I bet the Amish have a big stake in this one as well, come to think of it)
10.) Whiny phone voices - talk the same way you normally do, people...the phone does not require you to speak a different dialect.
Oh, this list could probably go on forever, but enough of my bitching...feel free to share some of the annoying things on your list!
